The Return of Moonraker

Pacifica welcomes a new dining destination this winter with the opening of Moonraker, located within the Best Western Lighthouse on Rockaway Beach Avenue. The name is taken from the original restaurant that was open for more than 25 years in the same location.

The recently reopened restaurant features modern seafood dishes with a twist in a completely updated and renovated space overlooking the Pacific Ocean, one of very few restaurants that can claim to be “oceanfront.” The historic space holds one of the most breathtaking views in the Bay Area, with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beach and the surf.

Menu items include a selection of raw oysters on the half shell, Lobster Cappuccino with reduced Maine lobster stock and foam, Grilled Wild Salmon Pinwheel with black lentils, braised greens, lemon thyme sauce, and gypsy pepper aioli and Grilled Natural Veal Chop with seared foie gras, black truffle and salsify to name a few.

If you weren’t in the mood for a coastal dining experience before, we bet you are now!
