Pacifica Hotels Hits Milestone with ‘Clean the World’ for Earth Day

Earth Day serves as an important annual reminder to honor the environment through action and preserve the planet for generations to come. This is a concept that remains top of mind year-round for Pacifica Hotels.

One way Pacifica Hotels is making a difference is by reducing the waste generated from our hotels’ bath products. One million partly-used bars of soap are disposed of daily by U.S. hotels. In an effort to lower that number, Pacifica Hotels donates partially used bars of soap and bath products to be recycled and donated to areas in need worldwide. Through a partnership with Clean the World, the largest global recycler of hotel soaps and bottled amenities, Pacifica Hotels just reached an impressive milestone –  donating over 5,000 pounds of soap and shampoo to date from 20 of our participating hotels.
