Annual IRONMAN Competition Hits Hawaii

On your mark…get set…go! On October 12, nearly 1,800 athletes from around the world will embark on a 140.6-mile journey that presents the ultimate test as they swim, bike and run for the renowned IRONMAN title in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Known as one of the most intense competitions in the world, testing body, mind and spirit, the IRONMAN World Championship will celebrate its 35th anniversary this year.

Having been a part of the competition for years, Courtyard Marriott King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel is proud to once again serve as the official hotel headquarters for the event.
